Notes for Chaston L. RUDDER

Chaston died on Thanksgiving Day 1967. We received a phone call from Billie's brother shortly after he died (same day). I didn't attend the funeral. I believe the funeral and burial was in Bloomfield, Mo. Billie visited us 2 or 3 times in later years until her death. I don't know the date of her death. In Mother's notes she had 2 dates, January 19, 1926 and January 12, 1927. I suspect the Jan 19, 1926 was their marriage date, and that Jan 12, 1927 was the final divorce date. She and Dad Shanks were married on Feb 14, 1927, a month later. I was adopted by him early in my childhood and was sealed to them after Dad joined the church and was sealed to Mother.
